Getting TEAMS

Purpose

In Getting TEAMS we bring together all the learning from the previous sessions. Leader’s practise creating a ‘truly’ psychologically safe environment with their own teams, supported by the facilitator.

Leader’s will learn how to utilise team strategies to leverage neurodiverse strengths, enhance decision-making, and understand healthy conflict. Empowering leaders to increase employee mental health and wellbeing and employee engagement, while increasing productivity and innovation.

Audience / Maximum number of participants

Leaders and influencers i.e., people and capability, project managers, client interfacing IT, finance etc, anyone who needs to influence others in your business – min 8, max 16 per cohort

Two packages available

1. Basic Package

Basic package includes pre-learning and workshop.

1. Pre-learning

Introduces models and concepts in a fun interactive way. These concepts build on the models and learning undertaken in the Getting SELF series allowing participants to see how their learning on SELF can be translated to OTHERS. Pre work takes approximately 60 mins

2. Workshop

Workshop is focused as much as possible on practising skills learnt in earlier sessions. At the end of the workshop individuals will be able to:

  • Build a Psychologically Safe environment when leading others and teams who think differently
  • Facilitate a Psychologically Safe environment enabling neurodiverse strengths to lead an engaged productive, innovative and highly functioning team
  • Promote Mental Health & Wellbeing by acknowledging individual psychological needs
  • Drive effective decision-making with care and accountability to achieve organisational outcomes.

During the workshop participants will tailor tools to suit their individual needs, with a range of tools in their toolbox for different situations and start skills development to build confidence with new information. As they did in the Getting Self series participants will also pick one new skill to work on in the coming weeks. This can be seen as an opportunity to further refine the skill they previously worked on or choose a different area they have identified as having the opportunity for growth.

Content

1. eLearning

Introduces models and concepts in an interactive way. The eLearning in this series pulls on the learning from Getting SELF and Getting OTHERS, firmly implanting the value of the learning from all three series.

2. Online group session

The purpose of the group session is:

  • Meet your DivergenThinking facilitator and others in your cohort
  • Discuss key concepts and share learning from readings to further develop knowledge
  • Answer any questions you may have
  • Prepare you for the workshop
  • Enable DivergenThinking to understand how we can best be of service to you.

3. Workshop

The workshop is focused as much as possible on practising new skills acquired in earlier sessions. At the end of the workshop individuals will be able to:

  • Participate in a ‘truly’ psychologically safe team building a compassionate, engaged team
  • Identify key interactions by building team strategies to increase productivity and innovation
  • Acknowledge team triggers and create strategies to build an engaged, collaborative team

During the workshop participants will tailor tools to suit their individual needs, with a range of tools in their toolbox for different situations.  They will enhance skills development learnt during this and previous workshops to continue building confidence with new information.  Participants also pick a skill to work on in the coming weeks. This final skill should work in collaboration with the previously developed skills, ensuring that they are functioning at their very best in the workplace.

4. Coaching

Follow up one-on-one coaching session to discuss how they found learning to date, the skill they choose to work on, how that is going and how it operates with the previous skills they have developed or enhanced. What is working well, what is not working so well and dig deeper into where to from here for the coming weeks. Having already experienced this coaching in the previous sessions, participants will be able to dive deeper into the process, better understanding themselves, those around them and interactions.

5. Supervision

Cohort catch up to share and discuss learning to date, ask questions about tricky situations of our clinical psychologist and lived experienced facilitators, that they may find themselves in while being able to reflect with others on their learning journey. During these sessions the cohorts are able to dive deeper than before as they round off the series having built TEAM skills.

6. Coaching

Follow up one-on-one coaching session to discuss how they found learning to date, what is working well, what is not working so well and digging deeper into where to from here.
