How Neurodiversity

In New Zealand we have the opportunity to leverage our neurodiversity for the greater good, to educate our team of 5 million around the benefits of neurodiversity, and to create environments where everyone flourishes.

We can influence our schools to change the way they handle neurodiversity at a young age which will, in the longer term, reduce our suicide rates, incidences of bullying, improve our school completion rates including further education and give more people jobs.

We can change the conversation from discussing negative traits to celebrating positive traits. We have the power to turn a social stigma into a standout advantage.

As a society, we should celebrate neurodiversity, and seek to promote enabling environments where everyone, including the neurodiverse can be themselves and feel free to think outside the box – a true environment for innovation and true productivity gains and be put to good use.
